I thanked him for his deeply sincere Christmas greeting to Ukrainians and for his support for our defense of life and our diplomatic efforts. Unfortunately, even on Christmas Eve and during Christmas night, the Russian army did not stop its brutal strikes against Ukraine, targeting our energy system and our people. There are brownouts in many of our cities and villages. Today, during the daytime, Russian troops are once again striking the cities of our east, and in Chernihiv, aid was being provided at the very moment of our conversation with the Patriarch to people wounded by a Russian drone that struck an ordinary residential building. A very accurate assessment of all this was voiced during our conversation: sadly, we are dealing with barbarians who, in the end, do not even believe in God. This is what Russia has become – and it is not ashamed of it at all. On the contrary, they are trying to make their thirst for killing the foundation of national pride there in Russia. We will continue countering the Russian war and aggression in every possible way, defending our lives, the lives of Ukrainians, and the lives of all people who suffer because this war is still ongoing. Zelensky : We greatly value @Pontifex Leo XIV’s constant attention to all diplomatic efforts aimed at ending Russia’s war against Ukraine, and we share His Holiness’s disappointment at Russia’s refusal to accept the latest Christmas ceasefire proposal. Sadly, this is already the fourth wartime Christmas for the Ukrainian people during the full-scale war, the largest in Europe since World War II. Moscow has not only rejected the request to end the killing at least for this Holy Day; instead, Russia launched a massive missile and drone strike against Ukraine's energy grid, causing power outages, and continues frontline assaults. Regrettably, Russia continues to reject real ceasefire proposals, as it has done throughout the year. Instead, it is clearly seeking ways to prolong the war and continue attacks. It is critical that everyone around the world speak out against this war and prevent Russia from normalizing its brutality, terror, and aggression against our people. Rusia exige la retirada de Ucrania de la región de Donetsk.
Estados Unidos propone un compromiso en forma de una zona económica libre. Si no se llega a un acuerdo sobre el principio de "nos quedamos donde estamos", la opción de la zona económica libre solo será posible mediante un referéndum en Ucrania, en el que se deberá someter a votación todo el documento.
15. Rusia y Ucrania se comprometen a no modificar los acuerdos por la fuerza.
16. Rusia no obstruirá el uso por parte de Ucrania del río Dniéper y el mar Negro para actividades comerciales. El cordón litoral de Kinburn será desmilitarizado.
17. Un intercambio de prisioneros por todos, el retorno de civiles, niños y presos políticos.
18. Ucrania se compromete a celebrar elecciones lo antes posible después de la firma del acuerdo.
19. El acuerdo será jurídicamente vinculante y supervisado por el "Consejo de Paz", presidido por el Presidente de Estados Unidos.
20. Una vez que todas las partes acuerden las condiciones establecidas, entrará en vigor inmediatamente un régimen de alto el fuego total.

In the old days, when there was good news, the Market went up. Nowadays, when there is good news, the Market goes down, because everybody thinks that Interest Rates will be immediately lifted to take care of "potential" Inflation. That means that, essentially, we can never have a Great Market again, those Markets from the time when our Nation was building up, and becoming great. Strong Markets, even phenomenal Markets, don't cause Inflation, stupidity does! I want my new Fed Chairman to lower Interest Rates if the Market is doing well, not destroy the Market for no reason whatsoever. I want to have a Market the likes of which we haven't had in many decades, a Market that goes up on good news, and down on bad news, the way it should be, and the way it was. Inflation will take care of itself and, if it doesn't, we can always raise Rates at the appropriate time — But the appropriate time is not to kill Rallies, which could lift our Nation by 10, 15, and even 20 GDP points in a year — and maybe even more than that! A Nation can never be Economically GREAT if "eggheads" are allowed to do everything within their power to destroy the upward slope. We are going to be encouraging the Good Market to get better, rather than make it impossible for it to do so. We are going to see numbers that are far more natural, and far better, than they have ever been before. We are going to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
