Japan Corporate Service Prices Fall 1.1% On Year In April


(RTTNews) - An index measuring corporate service prices in Japan was down 1.1 percent on year in April, the Bank of Japan said on Wednesday, coming in at 97.5 following the revised 1.2 percent annual contraction in March.
On a monthly basis, corporate service prices eased 0.4 percent after adding 0.5 percent in the previous month.
Among the individual sectors finishing higher were information and communications, transportation, finance and advertising. Finishing lower were prices for real estate and leasing and rental.
The reference index came in with a score of 97.0, down 1.5 percent on year and 0.7 percent on month.
