Créditos al consumo RU bajan 100 millones de libras


Los préstamos al consumo en Reino Unido bajaron 100 millones de libras en abril frente a una subida esperada de 300 millones. Por su parte, las hipotecas netas se situaron en 500 millones de libras, por debajo de las expectativas de 600 millones. Además, se ha conocido que la oferta de dinero M4 se ha mantenido sin cambios en el mes.

U.K. M4 Money Supply Flat In April
(RTTNews) - U.K.'s M4 money supply was flat on a monthly basis in April, the Bank of England confirmed Wednesday. It follows 0.1% rise in March and 0.2% growth in February. On an annual basis, M4 money supply was up 3.3%, unchanged from the preliminary report. That compares with March's 3.5% rise.
The household sector's holdings of M4 rose by GBP 0.8 billion in April. Private non-financial corporations' holdings of M4 fell by GBP 2.9 billion. Holdings of M4 by other financial corporations rose by GBP 3 billion.
Total M4 lending decreased 0.4% month-on-month following 0.3% rise in March. However, the annual growth in April accelerated to 4.3% from 4% in the previous month. M4 lending excluding the effects of securitisations etc. fell 0.4% on a monthly basis, but increased 2.8% over the previous year.
