SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures added to gains on Thursday after a report showed a smaller-than-expected increase in the nation's stockpiles. Natural gas for July delivery rose 9 cents, or 2.1%, to $4.52 per million British thermal units. The Energy Information Administration reported Thursday an increase of 88 billion cubic feet in natural gas in storage. Analysts polled by Platts had predicted an increase between 90 and 94 billion cubic feet.
