US chain store sales rose 0.6 pct last week-ICSC



June (Reuters) - The International Council of Shopping Centers and Goldman Sachs on Wednesday released the following seasonally adjusted weekly data on U.S. chain store retail sales.
ICSC Research expects same-store sales for May to be about 2.0-2.5 percent, compared with the same month of 2009.
The ICSC weekly U.S. retail chain store sales index is a joint publication between ICSC and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Itmeasures nominal same-store sales, excluding restaurant and vehicle demand, and represents about 75 retail chain stores.
