German June Leading Index Rises, Coincident Index Remains Unchanged

(RTTNews) - Germany's leading economic index rose 0.9% and the coincident economic index remained unchanged in June, the Conference Board said on Friday.

Five of the seven components in leading economic index for Germany improved in June. New orders in investment goods industries and the yield spread continued to make very large positive contributions to the index.
After remaining unchanged in June, the conference board coincident economic index, a measure of current economic activity, came in at 103.9. Two of the four components that make up the coincident index for Germany increased in June. The index rose 0.6% in May.
