German June Manufacturing Turnover Growth Slows

(RTTNews) - Germany's manufacturing turnover increased at a slower pace in June, a report by the Federal Statistical Office showed on Monday.
The manufacturing turnover in real terms increased a working day adjusted 10.7% year-on-year in June, but slower than a revised 13% growth in the previous month. At the same time, domestic turnover grew 7%, while turnover from business with foreign customers rose 15.1%.
On a monthly basis, the turnover in manufacturing dropped a seasonally and working day adjusted 0.3% in June, in contrast to a revised 3.2% rise in the previous month. The domestic turnover increased 1.1%, while non-domestic turnover fell 2%. Sales to euro area countries were down 1.9% from the preceding month, while sales to other countries slipped 2.1%, the Destatis said.
For the first seven months of the year, manufacturing turnover increased 9.9% compared to the same period of the previous year. The domestic turnover rose 5.7% during the period and foreign turnover grew 15%.
