(RTTNews) - Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said on Thursday that industrial production slid a revised 1.1% month-on-month in June. This is better than the 1.5% decrease estimated earlier.Shipments increased 0.2% in June, in contrast to the 0.2% decline estimated earlier. Inventory rose 0.7%, while the inventory ratio dropped 1.7%.
On a yearly basis, production was up 17.3%.
Industrial capacity utilization climbed 1% in June from a month earlier. On a yearly basis, production capacity rose 3.1%.
