The seasonally adjusted consumer confidence indicator rose to 92.8 in December from 90.2 in November, data from the Czech Statistical Office showed. A year earlier, the confidence indicator was at 95.3.
The business confidence index rose to 96.4 during the month from 93.2 in November. The confidence indicator was at 81.1 a year ago.Among the sub indicators, the confidence indicator for industry climbed to 107.1 from 101.5 in the previous month. Service providers' assessment of their present economic situation also improved with the corresponding indicator rising to 90.6 from 88.7.
Meanwhile, the economic sentiment indicator or composite indicator advanced to 95.8 from 92.7 in November in line with stronger sentiment among entrepreneurs and consumers.
