Dutch Consumer Sentiment Deteriorates In December

(RTTNews) - Dutch households turned more pessimistic in December as they viewed their general economic situation deteriorated significantly in the month.
The consumer confidence indicator dropped to minus 14 from minus 7 in November, survey results from the Central Bureau of Statistics showed Monday.
The statistical office said consumers were much gloomier about economic situation in December than in November. Despite Christmas, consumers' willingness to buy lessened and they are increasingly worried about their own financial situation.
Moreover, households employment expectations also deteriorated.
