Japan October Leading Index Revised Up

(RTTNews) - The official leading indicator of the Japanese economy for October was revised up to 97.7 from 97.2 on Monday.

However, that was still lower than the 99.1 reading in September.

The Cabinet Office also revised up the coincident index to 100.8 from 100.7, compared to the prior month's reading of 102.1.

Meanwhile, the lagging index climbed to 88.7 in October from 88.1 in the prior month.
