Japanese Dec Small Business Confidence Rises Slightly

(RTTNews) - Japan's small business sentiment improved slightly in December after easing for three straight months, survey data showed on Monday.

The business sentiment index came in at 45.9, up from 45.8 in November, the Shoko Chukin Bank said. While, confidence among manufacturers fell to 46 from 46.6, non-manufacturers' sentiment improved to 45.8 from 45.2.
For January, overall confidence is expected to drop to 45.4.
