Slovenia's Economic Sentiment Stable In December

(RTTNews) - Slovenia's seasonally adjusted economic sentiment indicator remained steady at minus 8 for a second consecutive month in December, a report by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Tuesday.
Compared to December last year, the sentiment indicator went up by 5 percentage points but was 9 percentage points below the long-term average, the statistical office said.
The confidence indicator for the manufacturing sector rose to minus 1 in December from minus 2 in November. The indicator went up by 10 percentage points from last year.

(RTTNews) - Slovenia's seasonally adjusted economic sentiment indicator remained steady at minus 8 for a second consecutive month in December, a report by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Tuesday.
Compared to December last year, the sentiment indicator went up by 5 percentage points but was 9 percentage points below the long-term average, the statistical office said.
The confidence indicator for the manufacturing sector rose to minus 1 in December from minus 2 in November. The indicator went up by 10 percentage points from last year.
The indicator measuring confidence among retailers rose to 12 during the month from 10 in November. Sentiment among service providers also improved with the confidence index rising to minus 1 from minus 2.
The measure of confidence in construction industry, however, fell to minus 56 from minus 53, pointing to further deterioration in sentiment levels.
Confidence among households weakened in December with the seasonally adjusted consumer confidence index falling to minus 26 from minus 24 in the previous month.
