Sweden Nov Producer Prices Rise More Than Expected

(RTTNews) - Swedish producer prices increased 2.2% in November from the previous year, Statistics Sweden reported Wednesday. The latest growth rate was larger than the expected 1.7% increase, but slightly below last month's 2.3% rise.
From October to November, producer prices moved up 0.8% in total and by 0.7% on the domestic market. Economists had expected only 0.3% increase for November. Both export and import prices increased by 1% on average.
Increased prices on the domestic market were mostly due to higher prices for electricity, which contributed to the total by 0.3 percentage points, data showed.
