SYDNEY (MarketWatch)
The Bank of Japan's interest-rate setting committee believe that the effects of balance-sheet adjustments on the U.S. economy and the possible consequences of the sovereign debt problems in Europe continue to warrant attention, according to minutes of the latest committee meeting released Thursday.
The central bank committee also noted that Japan's economy is expected to return to a path of moderate recovery from the second half of fiscal 2011, as exports increase due to firm overseas demand and higher domestic demand.
