Europe has the capacity to solve its debt problems but its response is "obviously not fast enough," Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said on Tuesday.
Speaking at The Wall Street Journal CEO Council, Geithner said it's "terribly difficult" for Europe to resolve its debt crisis but that it's gradually making progress.
Economists are worried that the region's crisis could hasten another recession.
