
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch)
A record-low number of U.S. adults are married, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. Census data.
The percentage of adults 18 and over who are married has dropped to 51% from 72% in 1960.
Also, the median age at first marriage has never been higher for brides (26.5 years) and grooms (28.7).
