Exxon Mobil Corp said Thursday it added 1.8 billion oil-equivalent barrels to its reserves in 2011 "During challenging times for the global economy, we continue to take a long-term view of resource development and invest throughout the commodity price cycle," Chief Exeuctive Officer Rex Tillerson said
"Adding reserves enables ExxonMobil to develop new supplies of energy to meet future demand and support economic growth and improved standards of living."
