France sold 7.96 billion euros ($10.49 billion) of government bonds in an auction Thursday
The French public debt agency said a sale of 1.01 billion euros of 2018 bonds produced an average yield of 2.44%, with bids exceeding supply 4.34 times
A sale of 1.25 billion euros of bonds maturing in 2020 saw a yield of 2.91%, with a bid-to-cover ratio of 3.99, while a sale of 5.7 billion euros of 2022 bonds produced a 3.13% yield and was covered 1.71 times
