Iran might extend an oil embargo on Britain and France to other European nations, according to media reports Monday.
A day after Tehran said it had halted crude shipments to France and Britain, the head of Iran's state oil company on Monday said if other European countries continued "hostile acts," it would stop exports to those nations as well, according to the Associated Press, which cited a semiofficial Iranian news agency
Iran's moves were seen as a pre-emptive strike for a European Union embargo of Iranian oil set to start in July over Iran's nuclear program
