Lehman Brothers Holdings announced Tuesday that it and its affiliates have emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and plan to begin distributions to creditors on April 17
Distributions will be made to claimants of record as of March 18
Lehman added that a new board of directors will guide what remains of the company through the liquidation process
