Nike Inc , the world's largest athletic-shoe maker, said Thursday that its fiscal third-quarter profit rose 7% to $560 million, or $1.20 a share, from $523 million, or $1.08 a share, a year earlier
Sales in the quarter ended Feb. 29 climbed 15% to $5.85 billion
Analysts surveyed by FactSet estimated profit of $1.17 a share on sales of $5.82 billion
Orders of shoes and apparel for delivery from March through July rose 15% to $9.4 billion
