Dow loss exceeds 200 points in stock selloff


SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch)
A selloff in U.S. equity markets pushed the Dow Jones Industrial Average to a loss of more than 200 points Tuesday
The Dow fell 201 points, or 1.6%, to 12,729 in recent activity after reaching an intraday low of 12,710.56
The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 53 points, or 1.8%, to 2,994, and the S&P 500 Index declined 22 points, or 1.6%, to 1,360 in recent activity
