Pfizer Inc.is
expected to announce a more-than-$10-billion deal Monday to sell its baby-food
business to Nestlé SA , The
Wall Street Journal reported late Sunday, citing unnamed people familiar with
the matter
Pfizer had said in July it would sell its infant-nutrition business,
and Swiss-based Nestlé was able beat out French rival Groupe Danone SA for
the unit, the report said. Nestlé is already the world leader for baby formula
with a 17% global market share, and the deal will allow it to expand its sales
in China, according to the report
