McDonald's Corp. said
Tuesday its global same-store sales increased by 3.3% in April
U.S. same-store
sales rose 3.3% and Europe increased by 3.5%. Asia/Pacific Middle and Africa saw
a combined same-store sales increase of 1.1%
The fast food giant said it faced
a challenging global economic environment but said it'll continue to focus on
optimizing its menu and modernizing the restaurant experience
