Billionaire investor George Soros's Soros Fund
Management LLC has bought shares of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and
Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in the first
quarter, according to a regulatory filing late Tuesday
The fund didn't have
stakes in the two bank stocks as of Dec. 31
The Soros fund acquired 120,000
shares of Goldman as well as 606,400 shares of J.P. Morgan, whose disclosure of
a $2 billion-plus trading loss last week prompted a steep selloff in its share
price
The Soros fund also reduced its holdings of Apple Inc. shares
to 40,000 from 95,000 shares previously, and it sold its shares in Google Inc
