Australia's seasonally adjusted current-account deficit
widened by 5.25 billion Australian dollars ($5.1 billion) to A$14.89 billion in
the three months to March 30, the government reported Tuesday
Exports fell 7%,
while imports fell 1%
Economists had been expecting a deficit of A$14.7 billion
in the quarter, according to a survey compiled by Dow Jones Newswires
