WASHINGTON (MarketWatch)
U.S. services activity slowed in June to the weakest
level since January 2010, according to data released by the Institute for Supply
Management on Thursday
The ISM services index fell to 52.1% from 53.7% in May,
which was worse than the 52.9% than economists expected
Of key components, the
production index dropped 3.9 points, the new orders component fell 2.2 points,
while the employment component rose 1.5 points.
