U.S. stocks ended with minor losses Monday amid
low volumes, as investors moved cautiously ahead of central bank meetings and
some key data releases later this week
The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost
2.7 points, or 0.02%, to 13,073, led by a 2% drop in J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
shares
The S&P 500 fell
less than 1 point, or 0.1%, to 1,385
The Nasdaq Composite fell
12 points, or 0.4%, to 2,946
Volume in New York Stock Exchange-listed shares
was 3.2 billion
Nasdaq-composite volume was 1.5 billion
Both were under the
past month's average
