SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch)
Crude-oil inventories rose by 335,000 barrels on
the week ended Sept. 21, the American Petroleum Institute said late Tuesday
The
trade group also reported gasoline supplies up 112,000 barrels, and inventories
of distillates down 483,000 barrels
The trade group's numbers come a day ahead
an official report by the Energy Information Administration
Analysts polled by
Platts expect crude inventories to rise by 1.5 million barrels Supplies of
gasoline are seen unchanged, and stockpiles of distillates up 1 million barrels.
