Dow finishes up 19 points after late-day turnaround; S&P, Nasdaq end lower


SAN FRANCISCO (Marketwatch)
U.S. stocks ended mixed on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average turning up late in the session to end at 13,596.93, up 18.97 points, or 0.1%
The S&P 500 Index  ended down a fraction of a point at 1,460.26, after falling as low as 1,449.93 early in the trading day
The Nasdaq Composite Index declined 6.66 points, or 0.2%, to 3,175.96.
