Nasdaq, S&P 500 close in the red; Disney leads Dow higher

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch)
Blue-chip stocks closed slightly higher Wednesday as traders awaited this week's European Central Bank meeting and data on U.S. jobs
The Dow industrials closed up 11.54 points, or 0.1%, at 13,047.48
The Nasdaq Composite edged down by 5.79 points, or 0.2%, to 3,069.27, while the S&P 500 ended 1.5 points, or 0.1%, lower at 1,403.44
"Most [investors] shrugged off any news, good or bad today, cautiously waiting for the [U.S.] jobs numbers," said Robert Fuest, COO and head of investment research at Landor & Fuest Capital Managers
If the jobs report Friday is "not overly positive, the market will likely rally" as investors will look to the Federal Reserve for additional stimulus, he said
