U.S. stocks fell Wednesday, extending losses that had Wall Street slammed the prior session, with investors taking a cautious tone amid third-quarter earnings
Wall Street's fall comes amid "continuing disappointment with earnings
It's mostly in the top-line numbers, or revenues from multinationals doing business overseas," said Brad Sorensen, director of market and sector analysis at Charles Schwab's Center for Financial Research
Te Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 25.19 points, or 0.2%, to 13,077.34
The S&P 500 index retreated 4.36 points, or 0.3%, to 1,408.75
The Nasdaq Composite ost 8.76 points, or 0.3%, to 2,981.70
