Ford Motor Co. said Friday
that it's planning to hire 2,200 salaried workers in the U.S. this year to
support the introduction of new products
The job additions announced
were the company's largest increase in new salaried workers in more than a
decade, it said
Ford is now more than halfway to reaching its target of
creating 12,000 hourly U.S. jobs by 2015, it said
