NEW YORK (MarketWatch)
Analysts at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. on Monday
upgraded Hewlett-Packard Co. to
neutral from underweight and raised Fusion-io Inc. to
overweight from neutral
"With HP, our view is that the headline news just
cannot get much worse," the analysts wrote in a note
"As for Fusion-io, our
research points to Fusion-io continuing to hold the pole position in server-side
data acceleration technology."
The J.P. Morgan analysts also downgraded IBM
to
neutral from overweight, saying they were concerned that "investors could become
less interested in the stock, given the company's limited upside potential and
muted revenue growth profile at a time when broader tech end markets could be
bottoming."
J.P. Morgan also downgraded EMC Corp.to
neutral from overweight
