China's services sector slowed its growth slightly in April, according to data out Friday
The offical non-manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index slipped to 54.5 for the month, down from March's 55.6 and returning to its level in February, the National Bureau of Statistics said
The index remained comfortably above the 50 level separating expansion from contraction, though the new-orders subindex dropped to 50.9 -- its lowest in at least a year -- down from 52.0 in March
The contruction activity subindex inched down to 62.4 from the previous month's 64
