The mathematician of the Complutense University of Madrid, José-Vidal Ruiz Varela, argues that Europe must raise its borrowing limit, leaving its deflationary policy. Meanwhile, USA must correct debt and raise the interest rates. Raising the interest rates in the USA and dropping them in Europe, recovers the European domestic demand and EE.UU may return to invest in Europe, with a stronger dollar, without any problem, generating hundreds of thousands of Jobs
LONDON (MarketWatch)
Inflation in the euro-zone dropped to 0.7% in January, marking an unexpected decline and adding more pressure on the European Central Bank to act to fight deflationary tendencies
The January number inched down from 0.8% in December and missed analyst expectations of a 0.8%-0.9% reading
Excluding energy, food, alcohol and tobacco, consumer prices rose 0.8% in January
Economists are worried that deflation fears could derail the fragile economic recovery in the euro zone and speculate that the ECB will be forced to either cut interest rates further or launch non-conventional policy measures
