Russian forces forcibly took 52 people from a village in Ukraine’s Sumy region to Russia, including children. President @ZelenskyyUa said the civilians had remained in Hrabovske after refusing evacuation. When Russian troops entered the village, residents were seized and transported to the Russian Federation. Hrabovske is a border village located just 200 meters from the border. Among those taken, reports indicate around 17 were men of draft age, while the rest were women and children. Ukrainian servicemen were also reported captured. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister @andrii_sybiha has demanded the return of the civilians and called on states and international organizations to help secure their return. Children must be brought home, not held by the aggressor state.
