MFA UKRAINE : Overnight, Russian forces carried out one of the largest drone attacks on Zaporizhzhia. The first wave occurred late on the evening of January 1, causing three fires. The second attack hit on the night of January 2, igniting a shopping center. Besides, Russian forces launched over 700 attacks across 27 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the day. This included hundreds of drone attacks and artillery hits. One day – over 50 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure. Two people were injured. Russian attacks do not stop, and there can be no pause in supporting Ukraine’s Armed Forces. Air defence support must not be delayed. Pressure on Russia must continue.
