(RTTNews) - French domestic industrial producer price index, or PPI, rose 4.5% year-on-year in November, latest data from statistical office Insee showed Thursday. Economists had forecast 4.4% rise following October's 4.3% increase.On a monthly basis, producer prices were up 0.4%, in line with the consensus forecast.
The PPI for foreign markets were up 0.5% month-on-month and 3.2% over a year earlier. Total PPI in November was up 0.4% on a monthly basis and 4.1% year-on-year.
Import prices of industrial products climbed 0.8% compared to October, while those were up 7.7% from the previous year.
