Italy Industrial New Orders Stall In October

(RTTNews) - Inbound new orders to Italian industries saw no growth in October from the previous month, in contrast to expectations for a 0.6% monthly rise.

Statistical office Istat said domestic orders fell 1.2%, while overseas orders climbed 2.3%.

On a year-over-year basis, industrial new orders climbed 12.4%, again missing expectations for a 16% increase.
Meanwhile, the turnover of Italian industries climbed 1% on a monthly basis and 9.8% on an annual basis in October.
