(RTTNews) - Italian producer price inflation quickened to 4% in November from 3.8% in October, data from statistical office Istat showed Thursday.
Producer prices increased 4.1% in domestic market and 3.5% in the foreign market. Year-on-year, prices of consumer goods increased 1.6%, while those of capital goods and intermediate goods climbed 0.8% and 5.7% respectively.
Producer prices of energy climbed 8.6% in November. On a monthly basis, the producer price index grew 0.4%, reversing a 0.1% decline in October. Producer prices for the first eleven months of the year increased 2.9% compared to the same period last year.
