(RTTNews) - Portuguese industrial output grew in November for the first time in four months, data from Statistics Portugal showed Thursday.
Production rose 0.7% year-on-year in November, following a 2% decline in the previous month. At the same time, manufacturing production grew 0.4%, partly reversing a 1.7% fall in October.
On a monthly basis, production grew 0.7% compared to 1.9% fall in the preceding month. Output in the manufacturing industry increased 2.2% month-on-month after a 2.1% fall in October.

(RTTNews) - Portuguese industrial output grew in November for the first time in four months, data from Statistics Portugal showed Thursday.
Production rose 0.7% year-on-year in November, following a 2% decline in the previous month. At the same time, manufacturing production grew 0.4%, partly reversing a 1.7% fall in October.
On a monthly basis, production grew 0.7% compared to 1.9% fall in the preceding month. Output in the manufacturing industry increased 2.2% month-on-month after a 2.1% fall in October.
Separately, the statistical office reported that the retail sales in Portugal slipped 4.8% year-on-year in November, faster than the 1.2% fall in the previous month.
Sales had been declining for a sixth successive month. On a monthly basis, sales fell 4.1% compared to 0.6% rise in October.
