Denmark Inflation Rises To 2.8% In December

(RTTNews) - Denmark's consumer price measure of inflation rose to 2.8% in December from 2.6% in the prior month, Statistics Denmark said on Monday.
The increase was mainly due to higher food and non-alcoholic beverage prices, up 3.5%, after a 2.5% rise in November. Transport price inflation jumped to 3.4% from 2.3%.
Month-on-month, consumer prices rose 0.1% in December.
Meanwhile, the harmonized measure of consumer prices rose 2.8% year-on-year in December, up from the 2.5% increase in the previous month.
