Sweden Industrial Output, New Orders Rise In November

(RTTNews) - Sweden industrial production increased 1.1% on a monthly basis on November, taking the annual growth to 12.1%, figures from Statistics Sweden showed Monday.
At the same time, the annual growth figures for the month of October has been revised upwards by 0.1 percentage point to 11.4%.
Production of motor vehicles continued rise with the output registering a 40.5% annual growth in November. Production growth was also strong in the pharmaceutical industry, the manufacture of fabricated metal products and the machinery industry.
On a monthly basis, industrial production grew 1.1% based on the seasonally adjusted figures. Meanwhile, the monthly growth rate for October got downwardly revised to 0.1%. Output rose 1.3% during the three months ended November as compared to the three months through August.

Separately, the statistical office reported that the industrial new orders fell 2% in November from October, reflecting a 2.5% decline in orders from domestic market and a 1.6% fall in export orders.
However, new orders grew 15.9% from a year earlier. The increase in the domestic new orders was 9.1%, while growth in export orders was 21.4%.
New order growth for October compared to September has been revised upwards by 0.1 percentage points to 3.1%. The change in new orders for October compared to October 2009 has also been revised upwards by 0.1 percentage points to 11.5%, the statistical office said.
