Romania Producer Prices Rise In November

(RTTNews) - Romania's producer prices rose 8.09% year-on-year in November, data from the National Institute of Statistics showed Tuesday.

Producer prices in mining industry recorded an increase of 2.78% annually in November, while prices in manufacturing sector climbed 9.32%. Prices for the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning grew 3.26%.
Among main industrial groups, producer prices in the intermediate goods industry grew 9.43% in November from the previous year and in capital goods industry, the price index rose 3.67%. Prices in household goods industry increased 7.55%. In the energy sector, factory prices surged 10.21%.
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.83% in November. Producer prices in manufacturing industries grew 1.02% from the previous month while prices in mining industry was up 0.56%.
