(RTTNews) - Turkey's industrial production grew 9.1% in November from the same period of previous year, the Turkish Statistical Institute said Monday. But this was smaller than October's 9.8% growth. On a calendar adjusted basis, overall production advanced 8.4% annually. Among sub sectors of industry, the mining sector increased by unadjusted 8.2% and manufacturing sector by 9.7%. Further, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index moved up 4.7% in November from the previous year.
The calendar adjusted industrial production moved up 8.4% annually. After adjusting seasonal factors, industrial production fell by 1.3% month-on-month in November.
On January 3, survey data from Markit Economics showed that the manufacturing sector continued to grow in December, but the rate of expansion was the same as in the previous month.
