Greek Import Price Inflation Accelerates In December

(RTTNews) - Greece's import price inflation accelerated to 6.6% in December from 4.6% in November, the Hellenic Statistical Authority said Friday. That was the highest rate since May.

Official data showed that import price inflation accelerated for the second consecutive month in December.

On a monthly basis, import prices were up 1.7% in December compared with November's 1.7% increase.
In 2010, import prices climbed 6.6%, unchanged from 2009.
