Travelers profit falls 31%

Travelers Cos. Inc. said on Tuesday that its fourth-quarter profit fell 31%, to $618 million, or $1.51 a share, from $894 million,, or $1.95 a share a year ago
Revenue at the insurer rose to $6.37 billion, from $6.33 billion a year ago
Analysts polled by FactSet Research had expected the Dow Jones Industrial Average company to earn $1.54 a share on revenue of $5.46 billion
