Crude-oil futures on Monday ended at their best in nearly five weeks, buoyed by market optimism following Greece's vote on austerity measures and concerns about supplies after Israel accused Iran of being involved an embassy attack in India and a foiled attempt in Georgia
Crude for March delivery ended $2.24 higher, or 2.3%, at $100.91 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange
That was the best settlement for a most-active oil contract since Jan. 10
